When you first move into a new area, it can be the last thing on your mind to work out what public transport options are available, where is the nearest bus stop and what discounts are available? Bus Travel from Woodland Heath

Your most regular bus service is operated by First Buses from Atlantic Avenue, (a 10-minute walk). Services 11, 11A and 12 on the pink line stopping at Norwich City Centre, Cringleford and NNUH running up to 4 times an hour Monday to Friday.

The Konect Bus 5B service operates from Woodland Heath bus stop on Salhouse Road for travel to Norwich City Centre and Stalham operating approximately every hour.

There is also the bus stop located on Sale Road, the play area (a 13-minute walk). First Bus services 23, 23A and 23B run through this stop on the red line stopping at Norwich City Centre, Costessey and Queen’s Hills running up to 3 times an hour Monday to Friday.



Train Travel from Norwich

Your nearest train station is located within Norwich, a 20-minute drive/bus ride or a 25-minute cycle ride away. From Norwich station, there are direct services to London, Ipswich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Within the grounds of Norwich station, there are 442 free sheltered cycle storage spaces along with 62 car spaces.
