Currently, the closest bus stop to The Oaks is located outside Lidl on Broadland Gate for service 17 leading into Norwich City Centre. Bus stops on Yarmouth Road can be used for Service numbers 14/15/15A to provide further links to Norwich city centre and Wymondham via Thorpe, then into Brundall, Blofield and Lingwood. The 17 runs hourly from Monday to Saturday, but there is no service on Sunday. The 14/15/15A runs twice hourly from Monday to Saturday and hourly on Sundays and public holidays. The Oaks is also close to Postwick Park & Ride, which operates every 20 mins heading into Norwich City Centre.

The Oaks is situated close to three train stations. You can reach Norwich station by cycling in under 30 minutes, or by car in 15 minutes. The Brundall line runs between Great Yarmouth and Norwich, and between Norwich and Lowesoft. There are many more routes leaving Norwich such as to Cambridge, London and Manchester. Norwich station is perfect for commuters, you will find cycle storage for 442 bicycles, parking for 62 vehicles, operational CCTV throughout, as well as many facilities such as coffee shops and convenience stores.
