Community Transport

For those that are less able to travel by regular public transport, there are community transport options available in the area. Kent Karrier is a Dial-a-Ride service that operates within Kent, providing residents with accessible transport for a range of travel needs including to the supermarket, town centre or medical appointment. Services are available Monday-Friday between 10:00-13:00, bookings need to be made at least 1 day in advance. Call 01892 832447 between 09:30-16:00 to book a journey. A return journey will cost Â£5 and from April 2025, an annual membership will cost Â£50. To apply for a membership, head over to the Kent Karrier webpage to start your application.
