We would like to welcome our new team member to the Smarter Travel family! Edgar Fernandez joined us at the beginning of this week and will be working alongside Heidi and helping out as Travel Plan Coordinator on our the developments we are looking after.
Edgar is an enthusiastic cyclist and has been for more than 25 years! It was on becoming a dad of two which made him recognise what an important role sustainable transport plays for the health and livability of our cities, now and for the future generations. Over the years, Edgar has been a dedicated advocate of active travel and sustainable transport, having been involved with different initiatives and projects like British Cycling’s Sky Rides, sustainable city logistics and local cycling advocacy campaigns. Edgar enjoys working with communities to promote sustainable travel habits, making our cities better and healthier places to live in. When not in the Smarter Travel office, you can find Edgar on his bronze bike meandering every day the quiet lanes of Norwich.
