Public transport is a great alternative to reduce your reliance on travelling by car and to save money. See some of the options available for travelling to Gateway 14 either by bus or train below.
The nearest bus stops to the site are on Gun Cotton Way near the access for Tesco and within Tesco car park. These bus stops are a 6-minute walk or 2-minute cycle ride away from Gateway 14. Services 384 services here ae howver limited to schools services and Monday’s and Thursday’s shopping trips.
A regular bus service is available from bus stops on the B1113 at the junction with Earnest Nunn Road which is about a 20 minute walk away. From here regular bus services between Ipswich, Needham Market and Stowmarket are available on bus route 88 Monday to Saturday which run approximately every 30 minutes.
Additional bus services in Stowmarket are available from the town centre where stops are under a 5 minute walk from the town’s rail station. From the town centre services include those to: Haughley, Elmswell, Thurston, Woolpit, Norton, Tostock, Beyton, and Bury St Edmunds.
Keep an eye out for the planned shuttle bus service operating between the site and Stowmarket railway station.

Your closest train station is in the centre of Stowmarket, which is a 10 minute cycle or 30 minute walk away.
The rail services available include destinations such as Norwich, Ipswich, London (Liverpool Street), Cambridge and Peterborough. The station provides sheltered cycle storage for 88 bikes. Step free access is available across the whole station.
