Norfolk council have been busy at work and have agreed on some great new developments. These will further reduce harmful emissions and help towards to goal of Net Zero.
E – buses:
The council have received funding from the Department for Transport (DfT) of £11.4 million to electrify 70 buses and improve the Roundtree Bus Depot. This is accompanied by a previous fund of £3.3 million, making a total of £14.7 million.

E- cargo bikes:
This summer Norfolk County Council plan to introduce a fleet of 10 electric cargo bikes to help local business transport goods, sustainably and cheaply.
Cargo bikes are beginning to be widely used and have proved to be effective for businesses already, but the use of ‘renting per minute’ is still a new thing. Beryl use this model successful in areas East of London, used by businesses, shoppers and even traders.
