Public transport is a handy alternative for some trips to help reduce your carbon footprint and reliance on your car. Whether you’re looking to travel locally or nationally, there are plenty of options available to travel either by bus or train just make sure you check with the service operators before travel.
You can catch the 92 bus along Brooklands Road, which is a very short distance from Stour View. The 92 service runs from Ipswich to Manningtree roughly every 60 minutes, Monday through Friday. You can download bus timetables through the Ipswich Buses website, or download the Ipswich Buses app.
If you struggle with getting bus services from Brantham, there are community alternatives that run from Manningtree. The Manningtree and District Community Bus service is a local charity run by volunteers that provides travel for group outings or taking groups of people to meetings, but not for single person travel. Call 07548 984959 to book or to find out more information.
For journeys a bit further afield, Manningtree Train Station is approximately a 28-minute walk or a 7-minute bike ride from Stour view.
