Yearly Monitoring

Smarter Travel Ltd has been appointed by Persimmon Homes as the Travel Plan Coordinator for Trelawny Place, responsible for delivering the Travel Plan and Travel Plan measures set out within.

Your Travel Plan Coordinator will take the time to visit Trelawny Place every year and conduct annual monitoring of travel habits via on-site monitoring, which may include people on site counting all movements and/or cameras at the main access points to count all movements in and out. All data collected is confidential, not shared with any third parties and individuals are not identified in the results. The data is stored for no longer than six months after survey completion. On-site monitoring will be supplemented with a postal/online travel survey each year, to understand how and why people travel the way they do and gain valuable feedback from residents.

From residents’ feedback, it gives us the opportunity to work with the local authorities to further improve the area, and hopefully encourage long-term behaviour changes for a sustainable future.

The Smarter Travel Team is always striving to demonstrate the importance of environmental and health benefits through the use of more sustainable modes of travel as an alternative to the private car.

The yearly monitoring results will be included in the Travel Plan updates, the latest of which is available to view here.
