Public Transport

From Trelawny Place, you have multiple public modes of transport available to you, including regular buses and train services.

Buses:

The closest bus stop to Trelawny Place is a 18 minute walk along High Street outside the Half Moon pub. There are regular buses towards the town centre in Felixstowe and Trimley, and services that provide links to Ipswich, Woodbridge and Martlesham Heath.

The most regular services are the services 73, 75 and 77, operated by First Buses Norfolk & Suffolk. They run every approx. 25 mins alternating between each other on weekdays, providing links into Felixstowe and Ipswich. Ipswich Park & Ride

Ipswich Park & Ride is also another good way of getting into Ipswich. They provide services every 20 minutes and are fast and direct. They are fitted with comfortable real leather seats with head rests and plenty of room for legs and bags. Download their online brochure to learn more!

Trains

Your closest train station is Felixstowe Train station, which is a 31 minute walk away. Services between Felixstowe and Ipswich runs hourly throughout the day. Journey time between Felixstowe and Ipswich is within 25 minutes. Connection trains to Norwich, Cambridge and London are available from Ipswich Station.

For information related to assisting you to get to your local train station, or to help you with your journey to bring your bike, National Rail introduces PlusBike for keen cyclists, a free resource tool with all the information you need to plan a seamless journey connecting public transport when you take the train and you plan to cycle along the way.

PlusBike includes information such as bike parking, the number of parking spaces available at your local train station, bike hire, information about taking your bike with you on train and more.
